ENGAGE ENCOURAGE EDUCATE
Changing Lives by Engaging Young People through Positive and Personalised Learning Experiences

ABOUT US
The aim of A4S is to transform and improve the lives of young people who are struggling, or have struggled in life so far, whether academically, socially or economically. We provide alternative education for significantly disadvantaged young people who find it difficult to access mainstream education; have been excluded; or have been involved in crime and anti-social behaviour.

CORE ACTIVITIES
Through a programme of personalised training, using a range of experiential, often outdoor activities (such as angling & environmental maintenance), we help these students to (re)engage with education; gain valuable life-changing qualifications; work positively with others; and build confidence, self-esteem and aspirations.

STUDENT SUPPORT
Students are offered support in a variety of ways during their time with A4S. Our team of coaches provide students with opportunities to discuss any issues or problems they may have during their course. We also offer close support during theory lessons where coaches help with spelling, literacy skills etc.

PRIMARY PROJECT
Our Primary Project is to focus on children aged 8–11 from all walks of life who are affected by disadvantage.
